Fast paced, serious people inside.
It is almost impossible to contact them via phone. They do not pick up nor return calls. Even by emailing it takes at least several days for them to respond. I am very disappointed, especially since it wouldn't take much to answer a few emails or calls daily.
Really the worst visa experience you can get! The documents listed on a website aren't enough or correct ones for a specific visa. They constantly ask for additional documents leading to dealing with too much of stupid and pointless bureaucracy. Staff is incredibly rude. They treat you very inhumanely, as you are some criminal. Especially the lady who accepts documents. Except the guard, they are nice. And it's impossible to contact them by the phone or email. This consulate failed at every part of their job...
It works terribly. To start, there are no waiting spots outside to enter, and you are told to move by a rather rude security officer every now and then, and it doesn't help that you enter at least twenty minutes later after the given time of appointment. Things don't get much better inside. The rude security officers and the even ruder people handling your application will turn you down if given a chance. When they find missing documents in your application and they will, you are told to leave immediately and when you come back to deliver your missing documents, they will send you off again the moment they find a single thing missing WITHOUT checking the rest of your documents, and tell you tocome tomorrow. This is what I found to be the modt unethical part of the process because they give you only ten days to complete your missing documents. It is just a ruse to get your sixty-eight dollars, yes dollars, again. Think twice about going to Spain whether it is for work or studentship because this place is a total scam. Türkçe de yazayım ama biraz farklı olabilir. Burası bir korku filmi gibi. Görevliler size suçlu gibi davranıyor. Dışarıda bekleme yeri yok. İçeri girdiğinizde de vize başvurunuza bakan kişi size kabaca davranıyor. Bir eksik belge bulunursa, ki verdikleri hiçbir liste tam olmadığı için büyük olasılıkla bulunacak, size on iş günü içerisinde bunu kapatmanız söylenecek. Sonra geldiğinizde de bulunan ilk hatada BELGELERİN KALANINA BAKILMADAN tekrar gelmeniz söylenecek. Bu sadece altmış sekiz dolarınızı, evet dolarınızı, almak için yapılmış ucuz bir oyundur. İspanya'ya öğrencilik veya çalışma için gidecekseniz lütfen iki kere düşünün, bu korkunç, size hiçbir şekilde hesap vermeyen kurumla uğraşmak zorunda kalacaksınız.
I have never seen such rudeness in my life, the girl who was working there was example of impoliteness. Do not dare and copy something in nearby copy shop, they made me pay 35 Lira for 4 pages :( (Normally it is 0.5 Lira- 1 page) . Anyways, this consulate was worst experience in my life :(( the only bright part of the whole story were guardian and police officer women, they were super nice people and other staff should learn how to treat human-beings from them!
Truly horrible experience. Avoid this consulate if you can.
