If there is less than 1 star I would rate it -100, worst embassy ON EARTH it is like a group of gang people trapping you and stealing your passports and papers. Worst employees, such a shame to Germany...

the most terrible consulate ever. they did not reply to my emails, the staff at the call center has no idea about the procedures that I'm asking. If you have some work to with EU, for your own sake choose any other EU country, but not Germany.

My appointment was one month ago and I am completely satisfied with the service of the consular staff. I am not Turkish and I only speak English. The agent helped me with all of my documents and he allowed me to attach the missing ones by email. I was really scared to go to this consulate when I read the previous messages, but it seems that they’re kinder and more professional than my expectations. My visa was approved last thursday and I got delivered to my door two days later

It is more than 3 months that I am waiting for the response for my refusal letter. They don't answer your calls and even emails. It is the worst experience I have ever seen. Especially from German consulate. Such a shame

As a German citizen, I feel ashamed for this consulate. Taxpayers' money are well wasted on a huge building, where their own citizens have difficulties to get any help in times of emergencies. Access only after online appointment, where you have the chance to get one out of max.41 appointments each day from Monday to Thursday and Friday max.23 appointments. Phone hotline is a dead end. You might have to wait weeks until your appointment. Changing your current appointment to an earlier one, is only possible, if you request via email to cancel your current one, before re-applying again online. WHAT A HEADACHE! Wondering, how German citizens have been treated during the 2016 military coup attempt in 2016? My simple request was just a stamp and signature, which took less than 2 minutes. I still had to send the form myself directly to Germany, paying postage , fees to German authorities and for the simple stamp and signature a consulate fee, too, just to accomplish one thing. Speaking of German efficiency! WHAT A JOKE! Only Euros are accepted as payment. Wondering, what they are doing with all their spare time in that huge building...maybe practice golf? If you as a German are in urgent need of assistance, don't bother here ! UPSET AND FRUSTRATED ABOUT GERMAN BLOCKHEADS!

If you came to apply for visa you don't go inside the consulate, there is another place at the right-down side, you will be directed there. It's better not to bring a bigger suitcase, they may ask you to put it outside. Just bring your papers and your bag. Phones are not allowed inside and without appointment you will not be allowed to get inside. Inside of the place is expensive af for the document photocopies, packet cargo and so on. get your money as well.
