25 years ago it was the best place to have breakfast in Yenikoy. It had just a few tables in a rustic setting. Sadly, the place has transformed into a monstrosity. The cafe expanded to the adjacent building, demolished the old front with its bucolic atmosphere and instead turned the place into a setting that resembles a fastfood foodcourt with lots of tables stacked next to each other. Worst of all the ceiling is a cheap plastic cover, so you boil underneath it as there is no air-condition. 25 years ago it was paradise and hence made its fame. However, today it is Hell on Earth in Yenikoy. If you want to sweat and sit like you are in Mc Donald's, by all means go and torture yourself : )

Emek Kafe deserves five stars for it’s presence for decades and keeping the same quality. Excellent location in Yeniköy which is one of the best neighborhoods of İstanbul. The cafe has a long Layout starting from the street to the cost of Bosphorus. Don’t miss menemen with the traditional tea.

Excellent breakfast. Good food, reasonable prices. Gets very busy during weekends, so you may end up waiting for table.
It is located in Yenikoy near to the Yenikoy pier. A historical place, famous with breakfast. They had a restoration inside and now more place to sit in outside next to the sea. The service is good and fast. The prices are fair. No free parking lot so you must prefer public transportation or hire a vale service next to Emek Cafe.
Always the same quality and service. Hope they survive many more years to come.
