I normally never write reviews but this place is amazing so I had to. Don’t know where to start. Bought some beautiful and delicious Turkish delight, baklava, jewellery and other bits and pieces. The best place to buy Turkish delight and baklava in Istanbul. All the products are of very high quality, great prices and worth trying. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Their hospitality is outstanding. As soon as you enter their shop you don’t want to leave my whole experience was impeccable. Thank you Birhat and staff for a great experience, I’ll definitely be back to buy more!

Just bought a beautiful silk rug at a great price. Excellent experience in this rug store dealing with Gonzales. He was super friendly, informative and honest. The experienced was relaxed and not rushed or pushy. Great place, staff and range or rugs.
The salesmen was a little overt with their approach. Aggressive not assertive. In addition gave off a shady vibe. After being told three times we were interested (which included one of them waiting outside for us without permission) he finally pulled back. Some time later after running into another 5k Rug soldier, we decided to walk by the store, for curiosity's sake. STORE CLOSED.
On a recent visit to Istanbul I purchased an all silk carpet that was beautiful from the 5k rug store. I was told they would ship the carpet back to the U.S. to save my carrying it for the next four weeks of this trip. When I arrived home in Florida, there was a Fed Ex notice on the door that the third attempt had been made to deliver the carpet, and when I called Fed Ex in Daytona Florida, I was told that after three attempts the product would be returned back to the shipper. They told me that there was nothing further that they could do, and I left for another ten day trip believing that the carpet was sent back to the store. When I returned ten days later, I was told that the carpet had been left on the front of the house the following day and that no signature was required for delivery! Federal Express claim that they made the delivery and that it wasn't their problem that I never received it. Apparently the 5K rug store did not think that a 4500 dollar carpet should be insured and signed for upon delivery. I am still waiting for the 5K rug store to contact me.
