We were very naive to just how amazing Turkish wine was. Thanks to the cheery and very knowledgeable Mr Kaan who had some amazing recommendations. He has a vast selection of high quality but well priced wines. I have no idea why this place received a 1 star a few days ago it's a little gem in the back streets of Istanbul and our local wine shop from now on in.

If you love wines and want to learn and know about Turkish wines this is a place you can spend alot of time learning from the owner , seeing the many wines turkey can offer you. White, red etc . Owner knows his stuff and wants you to leave with what you love as a customer . English spoken very well . Could not ask for any more help I know we will be back when we revisit Istanbul for sure. We even directed other tourist here on our stay. A true real hidden gem in the city . When you see the locals stopping buy to pick up a bottle for the evening you know you have found heaven in the wine world .
Fantastic boutique wine shop, highly recommended. The owner, Kaan is very cheerful and knowledgeable guy who loves sharing all he knows about turkish wine and who wants you to leave with the wine you would love and not just buy for the sake of it. We were lucky to taste some very good wine (like Chateau Kalpak 2015) and left with some really good vintage wines. Will definitely come back when again in Istanbul.
The best wine store in Istanbul, definitely. The owner is extremely friendly. Try Barbare, or the excellent Château Kalpak
Not much choice. Narrow and busy road packed with cars, hard to get there. Not worth going there.
One of the greatest places to find turkish wines in Istanbul. This cozy shop sells vast variety of wines from about 50 companies over turkey. Mr. Önal kindly told me a lot of things about wines, turkish grapes, etc., therefore I was able to find my favorite one quite easily. Highly recommended for wine lovers!

The extremely knowledgeable owner (Kaan) is incredibly passionate about what he does. The bordeaux blend that he recommended from Chateau Kalpak was exactly what i was looking for, and I had an amazing time with him chatting about not just wine but music as well. Can’t recommend this shop enough if you are in istanbul looking for a good bottle and want to ask somebody about local spots to go to! Thanks Kaan!
