One the biggest mosques I had ever visited. The decorations and the details are amazing. It's less popular then Sultanahmt or Aya Sofia mosques but I guess it's only because it's recently built and did yet got as many attention as the historical ones. It a must visit in Istanbul. From the hill where it has been built you have an amazing panoramic view over Istanbul.

Giant masterpiece, surely to be visited, of course the old spirit of Istanbul is lost, but the building is the new era, so modern parts are required - lift, parking etc. Perfect view, there is the huge park, easy to get by a bus.
Camlica mosque is a new mosque, just a couple of years old and the biggest one in Turkey. It is a hyper modern one, with many escalators on the outside to reach it as well a huge underground parking so people from the neighborhood and Istanbul can reach it easily. Inside it looks very modern as well, and it misses the authencity of a mosque because of that. I would prefer Hagia Sophia over this one any day, architecture wise. The best time to come is just before sunset, walk around the gardens as well to have one of the best views over the city. The mosque becomes magical once the evening lights go on!
The largest mosque in whole Turkey and a great piece of architecture. Loved the interior design even more and enjoyed the views especially that it is situated on top of a hill with splendid panoramic view of the city
Took my breath away as soon as I saw it. The mosque is quite literally the embodiment of beauty, grandeur and architectural excellence. The details in and around the mosque are second to none. Everywhere and everything I looked at was just astonishing. They have a play area for kids, an outdoor gym area (yes.. you read right) and a beautiful garden area which gives you a stunning view of the sea and the Istanbul skyline. To sum it up, if I lived in Istanbul, I would be going to this masjid weekly, if not daily. ️️️
Beautiful mosque, great for photography! Best seen at night, less people and beautifully lit.
This is the biggest mosque in turkey on the asian side of istanbul with one of the prettiest views of the city. The mosque is architecturally so beautiful and picturesque for those who like to snap some noce shots and the precautions for coronavirus were pretty high. Next to it is a nice garden with also a noce view. Highly recommended.
