Adana Eastern Mediterranean Refinery and TAPCO Pipeline Project, both of which are developed by subsidiaries of Çalık Enerji, create an attractive and a strategic synergy around Ceyhan, Adana. Adana/Eastern Mediterranean Refinery Complex is scheduled to process crude oil to be supplied by Adana-Ceyhan pipeline (BTC and Iraq). It also comprises crude oil to be transported through Samsun-Adana/Ceyhan Cruide Oil Pipeline. Refined products will be exported to domestic and neighboring markets. Çalık Enerji also acquired natural gas distribution companies in Bursa and Kayseri. After then, Çalık Enerji incorporated YEDAŞ (a regional electricity distribution company with 1.6 million customers and ADN 4 Twh consumption representing 5 % of the market) after the completion of the process for the privatization tender in 2010.
