Very authentic place! Not comparable with anything else - there are dozens of houses in rocks, where monks and other people lived... in stone!! The valley is naturally beautiful, even a little bit gothic, you would be able to have a walk through 3 different valleys, try them all and investigate the caves inside, pigeon houses and astonishing view points

My group and I hiked for awhile. The sights were spectacular for a clear day! I got some great photos from it! Gotta go there again someday!
Beautiful, big and very interesting! Open-air. Put comfort shoes. Not very crowded.
Quiet, not a lot of people and full of caves. By the end of this, you'll be all caved out. It's about a 45 minute walk (while looking at stuff and taking pictures) to the end of the valley. Then a quick 20 minutes to walk back.
It is, as name says, in outside. Not like typical art museum but you see all the cave which was actually used long time. You will find yourself walking a lot in sandy place, so comfortable walking shoes are must when you go there. In the outside of museum, there were camels, which let you ride & take a pictures for fee.
Very interesting attraction - ancient city in the rocks. Сould you imagine that people lived there until 1952?
Open air museum, i would be back here to learn more about it. This place is interesting it involve a lot of walking but this place is amazing
Amazing place. 10 lira for car parking People lived here until 1952, that's not so long ago. Amazingly well preserved, you get a good feel of what life was like. Some parts are closed off though -for safety purposes. It erodes a lot faster with tourists
