The perfect day trip: take the ferry to Anadolu Kavagi and hike up to Yoros castle. It served hundreds of years ago as a watchpoint for boats coming into the Bosphorus from the Black Sea. Because of this, you have a magnificent view over the Black Sea and the Bosphorus strait. Take a picknick and have a lunch at the top, you will love it.

Great view from the top of the castle. You can only imagine the history of this strategic location where the Black Sea meets the Bosphorus
Nice small castle with a view but you can't go in.
Have wonderful viewing. You can see the 3th bridge in the right side, and all Bosphorus views in the right side. It's awesome. I just recommended to people, 'please be clean when you visited somewhere.'
Nice Yoros Castle Yoros Castle (Turkish: Yoros kalesi) is a Byzantine ruined castle at the confluence of the Bosphorus and the Black Sea, to the north of Joshua's Hill, in Istanbul, Turkey. It is also commonly referred to as the Genoese Castle, due to Genoa’s possession of it in the mid-15th century. Thanks
Left to its own, this once beautiful castle at the entrance to the Black Sea is now home to high bushes and a small number of tourists which seems only to be interested in the third Bosphorus bridge.
Yoros was amaizing. You can see the Sultan Salim bridge and the Black sea from the top. The restaurant which are located right there were nice, but overpriced. You can have same near the pierce for much less but even better.
Yoros Castle (Turkish: Yoros kalesi) is a Byzantine ruined castle at the confluence of the Bosphorus and the Black Sea, to the north of Joshua's Hill, in Istanbul, Turkey. It is also commonly referred to as the Genoese Castle, due to Genoa’s possession of it in the mid-15th century. Yoros Castle sits on a hill surrounded by steep bluffs overlooking the Bosphorus. It is just north of a small fishing village called Anadolu Kavağı, on Macar Bay, and the entire area is referred to as Anadolu Kavağı. This section is one of the narrowest stretches of the Bosphorus, and on the opposite shore sits an area called Rumeli Kavağı, which formerly held a fortification similar to Yoros Castle. (Anadolu and Rumeli were Ottoman terms for the Anatolian and European parts of the empire).
