They help old animals to end their lives in peace and care, but not clean enough to host people to see the animals

Not like other animal shelters. This place is quite packed, with many animals all either left or brought to this shelter. If you are goint there in a hot summer day,might be better to have a mask to avoid the smell.

I am so grateful for this place. I saw a guy in the market on the street trying to sell three tiny puppies. He then went to pet shop. The pet shop didn't want them. They are one or two weeks old and should be with mom. He said their mother died. I am not sure it was true, he really wanted money for them. He wasn't careful, he dropped one the ground. I took them from him and and bought the puppy milk for them and a carrier box. I took them to this shelter and donated some money. I hope they will survive. I don't know what I would do if the shelter wasn't here (I was a tourist about to leave the city).

Today I walked past the place to the Edikule fortress. And suddenly a pack of dogs attacked me. I barely got out. One even managed to bite me and tore the pants. I do not mind dogs, even love them. But I think they need to look carefully. They are a danger to humans.

They have around 3000 dogs.very good and nice staff
