Went here to see the famous artist/comic artist Turhan Selcuk’s exhibition. It was so wonderful! So many works I’ve never seen before or imagined, such an EXTENSIVE variety. Also visited the Ataturk exhibition too. It’s completely free and the gallery is HUGE, very luxurious, with friendly staff, a cinema & a big bookstore. A definite must-go if you’re visiting Istanbul

There is awesome exhibition going on now.. old photos and a movie out of them shows how 3 cities - Istanbul, Belgrad and Sarajevo formed.. worth to visit. There is also old coin exhibition going on. The table with lots of metal hands on it is interesting to see. When passing by the end corner hands were moved making lots of noise..
The old Kazim Taskent Yapi Kredi book store and art gallery has been completely refurbished and turned into a multi storey cultural centre. Interior design is tasty and modern.
Must visit for a good information about the culture.
Perfectly fits the old artsy ambiance of Istiklal. This new building shows that how you could actually create something new without killing the soul of a historic street.
I love that it's free.
Amazing collection
A really nice place. The bookstore downstairs however needs a bit more brighter lightning.
