Founded in 1973, CarpetView began as a simple carpet shop in Cappadocia, Turkey and it has grown since into one of the finest rugs store providing the most exquisite hand-knotted and hand-woven rugs of the highest quality. CarpetView.com offers a product range that can be found nowhere else. The carpets offered are handmade and of the highest quality and include carpets such as Turkish rugs, Oriental rugs, Persian rugs, Afghan rugs, kilims, and souzanis. These rugs come in the form of area rugs and runner rugs and are made from wool and, more exclusively, silk. Not only do we sell the finest carpets and rugs, we display the finest antique rugs, antique carpets, old souzanis, and kilims in our fabulous museum. It is here that you can browse through our collection and view the best handmade pieces from 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. The museum is located in Cappadocia, Turkey on the same premises as our store, Le Bazaar d’Orient.
