I didn't buy anything, but the owner was very friendly and the prices for ouds & lutes were comparable to a couple other shops I found later. It seems like a perfect place to buy a beginner instrument (or something for decoration). The shop is tourist-oriented like everything else in Sultanahment, but it's apparently not like the Grand Bazaar (where you get ripped-off with absolutely everything you purchase).
