TURYİD (Association of Tourism Investors, Restaurant and Club Managers) was founded on May 21st, 2003 at the meeting of the “Board of Founders” by 37 founder members and was declared in the “Resmi Gazete”, Turkish Official Gazette. TURYİD, a young and dynamic association operating mainly within the province of Istanbul, has succeeded in playing an important role in its field by its innovative and active position. It plans to develop the co-operation and unification of powers for its goals by enlarging its portfolio of members. TURYİD IS A TROUBLESHOOTING AND PIONEER ORGANIZATION Our aims are: To be an effective pressure group on the target groups. To protect and develop the economical interests of its members To be the main source of information, communication and training To act as an arbitrator in the internal problems of the sector To define and control the standards in the sector In order to reach these goals, TURYİD plans to: Define the membership criteria and ethic codes in the sector. Fulfill the needs and expectations of its members Develop a powerful general secretariat and to share the reports of the board of directors and of the working committees with its members individually or collectively Organize training programs for its members and their employees. Develop co-operation and build a communication network among its members Execute the strategic programs necessary for its members to be embraced by the society.
