Absolutely amazing ancient city. The access to the city is equipped with the stairs so not suitable for baby carriage. I definitely recommend this place If you love history and ancient places.

I really enjoyed my visit to Syedra. It is a winding narrow road up the steep hill, but it has been 90% sealed very recently so the surface is easy to drive on. The entry is free. There was a guard on duty but he was just sitting in his car playing with his phone and reading the racing guide! Syedra offered plenty of exploration of virtually unrestored ruins and awesome views of the lowlands and edge of the Mediterranean. I was amazed at how many banana plantations there were nearby! We were the only tourists there.

The climbing is quite difficult and it should be done with a car. Once up, the view is impressive and the ruins are quite well conserved. There's a toilet and, at the time I visit it (august 2019) there was no tax, only a Turkish director filming some scenes inside the ruins.
