It is a beautiful local museum with the great efforts of local people. They are very proud of their shamanistic roots. One should visit this place when they are around....
Nice small museum with various things. Not very ordered though. And there is no air conditioning so you cant spend too much time inside. Entry price is fair.
Great ethnography museum considering it is very small and authentic, funded by some citizens. Interesting details about Turkish shamanism, a few stuffed animals including an almost 2m long sea turtle, antiquities given by locals are some valuable points to talk. Only 2 TL (40 cents) entry fee. If you are in the Kazdaglari area, it is a good idea to spend an hour for this place.
It could be much better. There are interesting items but they are not presented very well and it has a feeling of neglect. If you are nearby it is worth a stop. Nothing is in English. Entrance fee is 4tl and 2tl for students. There is parking.
You can see the oldest tortoise shell in this museum. As it is a small museum, it does not take a lot of time to see all the pieces. The museum needs air conditioning because it is hard to breathe inside when you go there in summer.
Interesting place, though a bit poorly maintained.
Good place about local and nomadic Turkic culture
