They are so friendly! We spent an amazing time talking about culture, religion, people, life.. it was wonderful and interesting for my knowledge and my life. Then they surprised us with tea, Turkish sweet and gifts. I’m so grateful! Thanks Kubra for being volunteer, giving your being and your time to help people. I appreciate all that you did for us. Congratulations everybody in this group!

I visited the center and I enjoyed their warm hospitality. The people there are so friendly and informative, I really enjoyed the sweets and the tea they offer. It was a relaxing day and I got to learn about the history of the Mosque and the buildings that have the Roman/Ottoman style.. The markets are just next to the area as well.. If I come back to Turkey, then I have to come again and see the people in there, I gained good friends and teachers about the culture and the religion.

Me and friends were yesterday hosted by the cultural center. They welcomed and took the time to show us around. I would recommend it for a visit if you are interested or have questions about Turkey and Islam

We went to Sulemaniye Mosque and there we met Fatih, who kindly explained a bit about the meaning of the prayers and the basics about the mosque. Later it was prayer time so we were asked to leave and Fatih invited us to the centre. There we met Betul, Mihrimah and other amazing volunteers and had tea with them in the garden. It started to rain but we didn't mind since we were having such a great time. We learned so much about the culture and the islam, the volunteers kindly answered all the questions we had. We also learned a lot about my boyfriend's ancestors since they came from Izmir to Uruguay in the early 19s. We were invited with dates and since we never had turkish coffee before, they made some for us! We were also given brochures with walks suggested by locals which we followed the next days and absolutely loved them to escape from the more touristy paths. What else can I say, I fell in love with this city and its people. I recommend this experience to everybody who comes to Istanbul, and I hope to see everybody again in the future. Thank you so so much to all the volunteers for your hospitality!! Vero & Martin (Uruguay)

Lovely and friendly place where you can get a lot of information about Turkey, Turkish culture and Suleymaniye mosque. You will enjoy and feel comfortable while you re having your presentation. Fatih is a well educated tour guide and a friend that everybody should meet him and have at least little conversation.Everything is free and its a reliable place.

I would give them 6 stars if I could. Me and my family had an a amazing time here. They were very welcoming and respectful. They answered all my questions about Islam and were curious about me and my family. In Istanbul strangers are always trying to sell you something so it was refreshing to talk to someone who was actually just interested having company. If your afraid of proselytizing, don't be, they genuinely want to to show you the best of Islam and get to know you.

Thanks guys for the great hospitality. It was great to learn more about Islam and Turkey. I loved the international environment and was happy to practice my Arabic and Spanish with the other guests, as well as learning some basic Turkish. Also thank you for explaining to me how to properly eat Lahmacun, I wasn't aware that you had to actually roll it and was instead eating it like a pizza Looking forward to visiting you guys again next time I am around Suleymaniye mosque. Teşekkürler ve görüşürüz
