The hostel keepers were very friendly and helpful. The hostel was clean, well centered and close to public transports and some touristic locations.

I stayed there for 5 days and i must say that is one very nice hostel. Owner was really ok and also bathrooms were as they should be! 5 stars ;)
Awesome place, great location, extremely helpful and friendly staff who will give you great "local" recommendations. Bummer that there's no breakfast or kitchen for guests to use, but very affordable so it was well worth it!
We stayed at the Stray Cat Hostel for 3 days and it was amazing. - All the building had been painted by the visitors who slept there for few days and left their mark on the wall, making the whole hostel feel extremely more friendly and personal. - The room (double bedroom) had private bathroom and had always hot water. The wall radiator was on so we never felt cold and the bed was excelent. - The staff was very helpfull and super friendly as they where happy to help you with any of your questions and suggest lots of places to visit - Breakfast was simple but enough to get you going - The location was just 500 meters from taksim square making it just a 5minute walk just to get to the main street of taksim on foot - Price only 14 euros per night! I loved it and I suggest it to everyone
The Stray Cat is my favorite hostel in one of my favorite cities. It has an authentic backpacker's vibe, it's centrally located—a short walk to the Bosphorus, Istiklal, Taksim Square, the Galata Tower and the Istanbul Museum of Modern Art—and a great value. The guys that run it, Sedat and Chris, are really laid back, flexible, and occasionally drop a gem or two of priceless wisdom on you. Especially Sedat, a man who makes up for what he lacks in sleep with memorable, one-line aphorisms. Needless to say we got on famously. Can't recommend it enough!

Great few days here on my bike tour!
Auberge de jeunesse vraiment cool! Les petits chats viennent vous accueillir! Ce n'est pas non plus fantastique comme endroit mais le confort y est malgré tout. Pour rester dans des budgets raisonnables si vous visitez Istanbul vous pouvez y aller!
