The bath and massage were ok, but the we felt rushed. We had almost no time for relaxe alone. And at the end the guys came and were pushy for tips. They mentioned the tip a lot. Shameful...

Inexpensive local hammam. The experience would have been amazing if the men didn’t take us out after 20minutes to perform a quick and very rough scrub / massage before rushing us out. As my friend and I were drying our hair and getting ready to leave, we found ourselves surrounded by 7 Turkish men staring at us demanding a tip. We hesitated for a while but decided not to give in and left in a hurry. Intimidating experience!
Very nice place and perfect massage with feelings of great refreshments especially the man Vilil as I remember his name Beautiful experience .
Nice hammam. No-one speaks English. You get the impression that tourists have to pay more than locals, while getting worse service. They do help you through it. Embarrassing to have 5 men demanding tips at the exit. I was happy to tip the masseur, but supposedly the guy handing you a towel deserves one as well.
The process involved in taking a Turkish bath is similar to that of a sauna, but is more closely related to ancient Greek and ancient Roman bathing practices. It starts with relaxation in a room heated by a continuous flow of hot, dry air, allowing the bather to perspire freely. Bathers may then move to an even hotter room before they wash in cold water. After performing a full body wash and receiving a massage, bathers finally retire to the cooling-room for a period of relaxation. The discovery that was lost and has been found again, is this, in the fewest possible words: The application of hot air to the human body. It is not wet air, nor moist air, nor vapoury air; it is not vapour in any shape or form whatever. It is an immersion of the whole body in hot common air.
A beautiful experience.. only to be spoilt by the greed of the workers as they gather at the end of the session to request a tip.. they were not satisfied with a 60 Turkish lira tip (full bath & massage cost is 75 Turkish lira)
Super friendly staff, they dont speak english but if you are willing to try your turkish you will have a really nice afternoon.
We were in 5 and had this really great opportunity to feel traditional hamam in this place. The building is supposed to be more than 500 years old and you can feel it inside. The central room is awsome. Prepare yourself for tip demands at end...
