They are priced the goods in Euros but you pay in Turkish Lira. They are making extra money by changing the currency. Obviously you pay more than you need to pay. This isn't right.

All is good but the prices at the duty free are interesting. Although the water is 0,5 at the vending machine at the gate, it is 1,5 at duty free shop!!! This is too much of a difference in the same airport!! ( for comparison, the same quantity is 0,20 at the markets in the city nowadays) Besides, they price with Euro and charge with Turkish Lira. You also loose from currency.
warning! my fellow customers, "management is incompetent at Setur Sabiha Goken duty free" they do not seal your alcohol and do not ask you if you want them sealed due to very strict laws when you board to you next destination then customs will take them from you because it's not sealed and you lose your money because the shop assistance at Setur duty free Istanbul are useless to notify you. but if you complain to management they send you a photo of the policy apprantly it is in their store! so they don't take any responsibility for their actions! Never had an issue with other Duty free's before! because the other duty free stores will just seal it up anyway. I will never buy from Setur duty free again! i gave them on star just because the sale's woman smiled!

Very expensive duty free and bad customer service, plus they list the items in euros but charge u in Turkish Lira... one sure thing they will never get to the EU no matter what
