Impressive reconstructed amphiteater. Make sure to climb the hill to see it (and the stadium) from above. There's also a nearby aquadect worth visiting.

Impressive place. A place to go if you like history. Aspendos is one of the best well reserved ruins. This theatre was built about 1900 year ago. It's huge and also has great acoustics. Better to visit from opening when not so much people and not so much hot.

There is some gig in this Aspendos theatre that you can act, they sell printed copy for TRY40 each. One of the best theatre of Greek that well preserved. I guess better than Colesium. Another best ruin is Ephesus in Izmir. I stayed in Kaleici, the best place to stay in Antalya, Pudding Hotel, stunning view at Torun mountain sea view. There is a chartered cab in Kaleici to Aspendos, Greek Ruin, Waterfalls, Habitat Park that you can negotiate for TRY350. Alanya also a must-see place in Antalya charged separately.

The first thing you see when you get to Aspendos is the theatre and it is fantastic, seeing it from the bottom is good but it is well worth the time to clime up to the top of the theatre to look down and take photos. Don't spend all your time in the theatre it is only a small part of the ruins their is a lot to see up the hill behind the theatre, you need a good 3 to 4 hours to see all of it. There are stunning views of the area and a place to take a lot of photos. A must see place.

One of the most incredible and magical places in Turkey(more if you are a music lover). If you have the time, I would recommend to book tickets to the opera/ballet season here

Awesome theater and ruins were spectacular too. Who needs to go to a zoo when you can see lizards, turtles and snakes amongst the ruins.
