This is an amazing museum that you must visit when in Istanbul. There is a super interesting exhibition right now about the history and Constantinople that is spreaded out over 3 floors. The book store on the second floor is really gorgeous and the layout of it is genius. On top of that, it is great to know that this museum is totally free of charge to visit!

Very nice and comfortable place to spend time for reading. Good atmosphere, lighting and chairs. There is a bookstore as well. Two floors dedicated for exhibitions or art galleries. In 1st floor you can find a restaurant and winter garden is in 4th floor.

Definitely take look when you're around! It's on Istiklal Street so you can't miss it. They show different, changing exhibitions and the rooftop wintergarden is a silent oases of peace and tranquility to sit and relax for a bit. Currently they're showing the work of a female Turkish artist Nur Kocak.
