Very professional. No pushy sales tactics. Free shipping to the USA. They were patient with me, showed me tons of options. Intuitively found what was my dream rug. My silk room size rug is a masterpiece. They plan for you to haggle but even the starting price was fair. Just walk in (Mon.-Fri.) or call to make an appointment (during weekend while covid restrictions are in place). Engin Akdogan will make sure you are happy. Do not waste your time with other pushy shops. I am sure they will do video/Zoom appointments if needed. If I decide to get any other Turkish rugs I will call Engin for sure..

I haven’t bought from this place yet but I plan to hopefully in the future at some point. A lovely man named Duran who runs this shop with his family called out to me one night when I was visiting and was very kind. I was tired, had no way to buy a rug (I’m moving internationally to a new continent very soon and have no home to ship it to), and I was very clear about this. He just wanted to be hospitable and chat though, “tell me his whole life story”. He was super lovely, fixed me tea with no expectations, and we told each other our life stories while sitting next to the camel and donkey outside. I discovered that this shop helps support Kurdish people in Anatolia who make the rugs and it made me fall in love with the place even more. I highly recommend purchasing a rug from this shop, supporting the family who runs it and supporting the Kurdish people it helps support. At some point I hope to come back and buy a rug \u003c3
We traveled to Turkey in September 2018. We were 3 couples very fortunate to meet Engin. We bought 3 rugs from him. They are gorgeous. I’m finishing remodeling my home and can’t wait to see it on the floor. We loved his hospitality and can’t wait to visit him again.
