Rayfan is an international, non-governmental and non-profitable foundation founded in Turkey, 10/03/2016. It is authorized by Istanbul Meyer and also given the authorization of organizations and foundations in Ankara, No. 2244. Rayfan focuses on developing social, economic and rights initiatives and their information exchange on the regional and international levels in order to be more influential on decision makers contributing in such influence for the purpose of change via its policies and programs which are supported by deep experienced experts in the field of human rights and development in coordination with international and local partners. Consequently, Rayfan deploys most advanced technology to mobilize the public opinion and demonstrates the civic society’s capability to promote the society. Rayfan Foundation operates its activities and projects based on an essential concept which states “No development or peace without human rights.”. In case one of these pillars is fragile and weak, as a result, the whole structure would be likewise. Human rights is a basic pillar for development; supremacy of law translates human rights into national and developmental policies; it is so vital to combine the two concepts in the practical process in order to gather the support for development. Clarity and being on solid ground to the way of success is not the only thing that distinguishes us; Rayfan was born as an initiative then launched as a foundation which was scripted to adapt to the major changes of the international world witnessing fast paces toward accomplishing sustainable development goals (SDGs) set by the UN for 2030 which requires uniting efforts for creating a united vision that is able to reach the best standards for our societies.
