How to get a good price on rose perfume: insist on speaking to Orhan, the owner, and say that your friend Jeremiah (that's me) got it for 10 lira per gram. I went to the store first to buy Turkish Delight (of which there is a great variety, by the way) and was thinking about getting perfume; Orhan said 30 lira for a 3 gram bottle. We went to the Grand Bazar first, in hopes of finding an even better price than that for perfume there, but didn't. So we came back and Orhan wasn't serving us, but an employee. He said 75 for 3 grams (25 lira per gram). We insisted on seeing Orhan, since he had told us 30 lira for 3 grams. Orhan came from the back room. My brother and I got the bottle for our mom at 30 lira! :) Orhan is friendly, and so were his employees.

Avoid at all costs Very misleading, extremely expensive and a poor product My girlfriend got drawn in by the lovely looking displays, we were allowed to smell all of the teas but only offered to drink certain ones. I asked how much the tea was per small bag and was told it would be very cheap. Chose 4 teas, got to the till and hit with a charge of 90 pounds. By this point I felt pressured into buying it and made to feel it was my mistake. This was my first day in Istanbul and wish I had been a bit more savvy on the rules of the market. I convinced myself that we would enjoy the tea and forget about the price - then not make the same mistake and be more firm in future. Got home and the tea is completely flavourless - basically just poured a cup of hot coloured water, and at 30 GBP per bag - what a bargain!
Went to the bazaar with family it was very crowded. The people entering have to pass a checkpoint. Nobody has order and security just don't bother. Clean from inside, everything is very expensive. It has jewelry and clothes section. A very nice experience and would love to visit again
A lovely place with very friendly staff/owners . I'm enjoying the popping candy Turkish delight chocolate balls now, back in South Africa
Horrible sales person, don’t know what his name was maybe osman but he was an old and fat Turkish man. Very rude and pushy when I didn’t want to buy his tea he told me that I was fat and needed it \u200d️ I’m not even joking Don’t go here unless you want to be harassed!!!
Unfortunately, the experience was NOT positive. The salesman was pushy and dishonest. Though the prices are displayed, there is no itemization on the receipt. So they can round up the weight of products to their advantage and without notifying you. The manager was rude, to say the least. When inquiring about the excessive cost, the manager got physical. No other employee attempted to intervene. No comment on the product as it was thrown out following the negative experience.
I have got a great deals from Ahmet in store # 139, he is a great person and btw he did delivered whatever I bought from him to my hotel.
L'accueil est chaleureux. Il y a vraiment une large variété !!! Énorme !! Des bons produits !! Les prix sont un peu cher mais vous pouvez négocier ! Je recommande
