AVOID AT ALL COST. This is the worst hospital I have ever been to. I am not going to go into detail about departments (there are strengths and weaknesses in any medical institution). The person taking payments for hospital services makes up prices on the spot. He charged 200 TL for registration (submitting my birthday and name into the system). I asked him why the price was so high. He told me: \because you're a foreigner\. He charged me 400 liras for an x-ray and blood test; I asked for a receipt - it said 392 liras for standard blood test, 8 for x-ray. At first, I thought maybe this is what standard treatment of hospitals in Turkey is like. I came back another day, I asked for a PCR Covid-19 test (thought I would save some money as I registered here for 200 liras already and maybe some time too I saw the \PCR\ test signs while the staff was sending me in circles around the hospital for 3 days to get a simple check up). The guy in the payments department was at his best, he hesitated to answer, then he mumbled \two...hundred... fifty.... sixty.... SIX HUNDRED \- sounds like blatant discrimination and a scam. Turkish authorities should look into this scam artist. Called a few hospitals in the area, they quoted prices around 200 liras - no useless registration fees and bureauratic adventures across every department. (1 in 50 staff know english at best)
