Amazing staff. Wonderful food. The pottery kebab is a must try. 165 Turkish Lira is very affordable for 2 person share. Though very expensive compare to other dishes, the show for it is worth a lot. Very nice lamb. No lamb stink and well cooked with the vegetables and mushroom.

On our first day in Istanbul we wandered into this restaurant with no expectations. Fehrat (restaurant co-owner) showed us unrivaled hospitality. The food was cooked to perfection and upstairs is beautiful with a great view. Thank you Fero (nickname) for a wonderful evening.

So good!!! We were initially trying to go to the old ottoman cafe across the street but the rude waiter scoffed when we told him we didn’t have a reservation. Hungry and annoyed, we crossed the street and gave the old Istanbul cafe a shot.. and it did not disappoint!! Staff was excellent, atmosphere was cozy and relaxed and the food was delicious! Complimentary baklava was a nice touch. Wish we had more time to go back!

Such an amazing location to have traditional Turkish dishes. Owner was just awesome. He and staff treated us so well and spoke in English and Spanish. The setting at the restaurant was just perfect, cozy and felt like home. Background music was also great because it was a mix between modern and old Turkish music. Location is equipped with Wifi. At the end of our dinner, we were treated with tea and Turkish dessert. Highly recommended!
