EGET(Education, Geriatrics,Ecological Farming, Tourism) Foundation's Commercial Enterprise is founded in 2915 to generate income for EGET Foundation that endows scholarships to university students through ecological farming and sustainable wellness tourism. The first business activity of our Commercial enterprise is ARMUTÇUK AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISE. The land of 2200 square meters in the city of Muğla, Ula district, Armutçuk quarter is donated to the foundation by the founders. After regenerating the land, we planted the truffle inoculated oak tillers in 24-May-2015, 415 oak tillers are planted to the land where also an opening ceremony is arranged and where the attendees planted their own trees with their name under it. The type of truffle we preferred for our Armutçuk Agricultural Enterprise is Tuber Melanosporum. We plan to harvest the truffles at the beginning of 2020. The truffle mushroom ara going to be found by specially trained dogs, For optimum utlization of the land, until the truffles are harvested, we planted lavender seedlings in between the oak tillers. Hence, EGET Vakfı as being a pioneer on this topic also set up the first lavender enterprise of the coastal towns in Turkey. Lavandula Super-A and Angustifolia type lavenders are sold to generate income. We also sell other types of eco-frinedly products either under our own brand or under different labels. All products that are sold by our commercial enterprise is natural and ecologically and environmentally friendly products.
