Great museum. With a very beautiful park. Definitely visit this place. A gift shop present nearby the entrance gate, between the conference hall. The park is free of charge to enter. The ticket booth at the entrance sells the tickets for the castle and the ship.

a must visit place.. nothing fancy or jaw dropping.. it's just beautiful, interesting and informative. well run by the Turkish Armed forces. 1 hour should be enough to complete the trip. No car parking is allowed inside but there's a paid roadside parking space 100 m away to the entry gate, run by dark faced bashibozuk dudes but it's OK.

Good access for all ages, loved the open air museum as well as the Nusret Marine mineslayer. Cimenli Fortress as a museum is also beautiful. Downside, the Museum was under restoration so we couldnt go wished this was done during the winter. No photos are allowed

Everybody should see this place. Historic weapons and great cannons maden by Europeans and Ottomans are everywhere you can see. You must pay a bit of money to enter inside. It is also free for Turkish soldiers and their families. Enjoy it and travel to history !!

Didn’t go into castle as was short on time but the surrounding is free and is full of boats and items. Also a play ground for kids!

It is said in the museum website that it was open. It was not. Several people went there and there was a guard saying it was closed due to the pandemic. Bad service.
