Interesting but quite small for the impressive city that it represents. I guess most of Miletus hasn’t been excavated or it has been pillaged. It is quite sad to see the existing situation of the archeological place.

Very well done, lots of information, especially with regards to that particular settlement. Great coverage in German and English.

The Miletos Museum Directorate is located in the ancient city of Aydin province, Didim district, near the village of Balat. The static structure of the museum building, which was opened in 1973, deteriorated over time. Due to the danger of this situation in terms of the safety of life and property, he was closed to visit. Following the closure of the old museum building, work was started on the construction of the new building, which has a usage area of 1200 square meters, was put into service in 2011. The closed exhibition area is located within the museum Administrative Building. The finds of the ancient city of Miletos, the ancient city of Priene and the Temple of Apollo in Didim are exhibited in an area of approximately 600 square meters. Please thank you for having these works.

This is small but very interesting and well organized museum. Do not skip it during your visit in Miletus. Ticket for entering the site is valid for entering the museum as well.

Very good just as all other museums in Asia Minor. But u still do not understand why so little is written about the hellenistic period and what the ancient Greek civilisation did while you have no problems giving credit to the Roman Empire about what they did. Why this discrimination?
