Visited tonight after making an easy reservation on the google maps page. The waitress was lovely and welcoming, the restaurant itself is in a lovely location and has a great atmosphere. However sadly the waitress was over worked and service was slow towards the latter part of our meal. We were served a lovely humous starter with sausage and some nice bread, this was great and couldn’t fault it. I ordered a fillet Mignon and asked for it to be well done from previous experience of having a thicker steak, what came out was a thin piece and was still rare. The potato mash on my plate was cold and tasted like instant mash, as was the rice. The steak was also full of fat and far too ‘chewy’. The apple tea was beautiful and I ordered a second glass. I’m sure this was just a one off though, as I said the restaurant itself was beautiful and had a nice feel to it but on this occasion it didn’t tick the boxes for us.

I was recommended to this restaurant by the hotel I stayed. Because of Corona, I was obssesive about cleanliness and disinfection. The hotel said, this restaurant had managed very well and all the workers regularly take a corona test every month. so I tried this restaurant. The distance between the tables was far enough. and all the workers were wearing masks and kept watching us from the distance. I tried pottery kebab and the food was watery which Asian people (includung me) wanted. The restaurant was very elegant and pleasantly quiet! Thanks to Soffy's Kitchen in Goreme! Hope to see you again after Corona is finished!! :D
Food is upscale yet delicious Cappadocian cuisine. Deck terrace is very romantic. Slightly pricey but very inexpensive compared to US and Europe. A dinner for 2 costed me 22 USD.
I visited Goreme last November. Luckily it was just several days before Turkish goverment delared the restaurant's closing because of Covid 19. I and my friend ordered Cappadocia's special food, Pottery Kebab and Sac Tava. with 1 bottle of Cappadocia Wine. The atmosphere was very romantic and antique and the workers were very kind. I had a wonderful time in Soffy's kitchen. and strongly recommend this restaurant.
Top notch joint that delivers. Food is exceptional. What the menu lacks in pretentious description and detail makes up in presentation and taste. Staff complete this place and make it worthwhile by their hospitable nature and recommendations. Hot hummus can be ordered without meat*
We went for dinner and enjoyed our time very much. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We liked everything we ordered especially the mezes. As a vegetarian, it was nice to see a dedicated page on the menu. I would recommend the vegetable testi kebabı to people of vegan community.

Great service, tasty meals, cozy atmosphere. Recommended! Prices are average, we paid 160tl per 2 meals, soft drinks and dessert.
