After explaining the history and how-to of ceramics, one of the master potters will take you through the steps of creating your own work of art. At the end, you will have the opportunity to buy some of the ceramics which have been shaped, fired, glazed and painted all by hand. Whether or not you decide to purchase one of the incredible ceramics, the whole experience gives you a taste of Turkey and its incredible history. Kybele is located in the beautiful town of Avanos, which is known for its pottery. Its cobblestone streets, historic houses, and quaint shops make it hard not to spend a whole afternoon exploring. There is also a Starbucks there for those who need a taste of home, and a beautiful river to walk by as well.
