MINUS ONE STAR but had to put one in order to post Had a ring made by this establishment in May, but needed it reducing in size on returning to the UK as my fingers were probably swollen with the heat in Turkey. My jewellers in the UK would not touch it as the only gold on this ring was a thin gold plate, in fact so thin it now shows bare metal. Be warned if visiting Kusadasi and stay away from this place as they are known (Trip Advisor) to pass precious stones off as diamonds. If you have purchased from them, then get your jewellery checked on your return home.

I bought a 1 carat diamond ring from Freddie’s diamond store in Kusadasi 9 years ago. I was at a jewellers in Istanbul last week who looked at it and to our horror we discovered it was not a diamond but moissanite and worthless as it even had a crack on it, just scrap value for the gold. I took it to a second jeweller who told us the same. I emailed the shop twice and messaged them on Facebook but they never have responded to me. I realise now that they won’t and can just advise others to stay away from these crooks. I had received a certificate from them stating that it was a diamond but that doesn’t seem to be worth the paper it’s printed on. Now I would be very careful from who we bought expensive jewellery from but hindsight is a great thing, and naively when we bought it we though this was a reputable jewellery shop and we had received the documentation.

My first time buying jewellery in Kusadası Freddy's Jewellers is the best shop i have ever been in i went with my Grandaughter Kaci.The staff are all amazing.Richards expertise and his designs are fantastic the care ftom Jason was great.He really puts you at ease.Ive never been in a Jewellery Shop like it.My weakness is Zultanite or Czarite as we call it.Richsrd designed me a beautiful set.Im going back in September for a beautiful ring and pendant designed by the amazingly talented Richard a very funny man please check out this shop their hospitality is fantastic we feel like part of the family im sure we will be met with the same friendliness as before.Thank you all so much love my jewellery its made one old gal very happy x.

Amazing jewellery he made me a ring handmade with diamonds, rubies, sapphires, emerald. It's amazing and he gave me a great price and threw in a beautiful childs bracelet because he is just a wonderful man. Freddys r Richard Gere as he is otherwise called is a lovely person who is so charming but not to full on. He is a gentleman and an amazing artist also , his watercolour paintings are gorgeous and I got the privilege of him drawing my face while I sat there in literally just seconds and he let me keep it.
