Definitely a must when in the Old City of Istanbul. 1 min walk from the Hagia Sophia and also has delivery available 24-hours. We highly recommend the shrimp entree but I personally enjoyed the lamb chops as they were succulent and tasty. All the staff are extremely friendly, well spoken in English, and very professional. There are so many other dishes that we want to try but simply ran out of space in our tummies so definitely need to go back soon.

They are cheating with prices, be aware! I ordered kebab mix for 1 person, it cost 69 liras in the menu. When I asked for a check, this kebab cost 86 liras. The tea was also overpriced. I don’t remember for sure, but tea was 5 liras, not 8 liras as it was in the check. I didn’t realize at that time. Then I’ve found out that it’s a common trick in Turkey. So don’t give a menu back or take a picture of the price. The meat was good so I put 1 Star for that. Upd: I received a response from Turgut. The kebab price turned out to be 87 liras)) The total price of my order was 74 liras as per the menu, I remember it for sure. And I was charged 94 liras (20 liras plus). So ask for a menu with FINAL prices or go to another place. You can find good meat for a better price in Istanbul. P.S. reliability of my review is proved by my photo, there’s the Turgut menu in the background and on a paper on the table. Обманывают с ценами, будьте осторожны! Я заказала кебаб микс на 1 человека. I lived in nearby hotel and ordered every day from this restaurant. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable in this area. The staff have good attitudes. I recommend this in sultamahmet area

Very friendly staff, like anyplace abroad it’s important to be diligent and observe the bill and pricing. Food was great, met the owners, fantastic. Open late and delivery options, ended up eating here multiple times.
It was really good service. We were often to go there for dinner. And the food, it was great. We repeated 5 times, only with this you could understand my opinion.
