If your looking for a low budget/high class experience this is it. This is place is over 500 years old. The original Sultan Suleyman bathed here.Its a beautiful place staffed by professionals. Its appointment only and they only accept couples and families- no singles. It's a good value for 40 because it's done by pros in traditional way. You can spend way more than this at other places, but this is real value.

Great experience. 41 degrees for 40 minutes is something. And we didn't know what we were doing.. could have used the taps for cold water... the marble was way too hot to lie on. Rookie mistakes! But we know for next time. Scrub time was fun, though. Inside is the same place where suleiman took his baths too. Fresh juice afterwards was the bomb. Sweated for few hours after the experience.
Loved it! Did the traditional treatment and came out feeling great. Must warn you, it's hot in there but a great experience. Clean, efficient and very friendly service. It's a mixed hammam and all the masseurs are male.
Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Went at a time that wasn't busy - the staff was attentive and considerate. I had a bit of trouble tolerating the heat (my wife had no such issues) but I managed to see things through. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Istanbul. Well worth the money (and I have never felt so clean!).
Couples place but only work with male massagers. Very professional but seemed quite expensive
A bit expensive, but it's nice to enjoy the hamami experience together if you are travelling in couple, since usually men and women are divided. The place has a traditional architecture and it's really beautiful and well kept. The soap massage is very enjoyable if you have never done it, but we have found it more "interesting" than relaxing. We are happy of having been there, but once is enough, we wouldn't go back.

This is one of the few couple/family friendly Hamams. Ritual was very relaxing, facilities felt authentic and staff were friendly. We had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this, if you're visiting Istanbul.
