Not as many cats as you might expect for a cat cafe, but it's a lovely cute place, with the most original bathroom I've ever seen! The staff are very friendly. There were newborn kittens when we went there in late October. Tasty drinks and cake, reasonable prices. Nice location in unspoiled hipster-lite-ish area.

One of the most beautiful cafes I have seen! It is filled with vintage stuff, but it is not just a mess. Everything fits so well together and creates a certain story. The staff is very friendly, took a Kurdish coffee here which was delicious. Highly recommended to come here if you are in lovely Balat!

Note: This cafe is NOT Recommended if you are allergic to cats. Located in Balat neighborhood where a recent influx of hipster wave cute, vintage and colorful cafes are springing up. Super cozy place filled with cool, little nostalgic decor, vintage items and pictures. If you love cats, this is the place to be, cats running around and posing away on table on a chill atmosphere. Unfortunately, cats is not my thing.

One of the coziest places I have ever been to... I was obsessed with every single tiny detail in the whole cafe... The kittens, the atmosphere, the vibes, the colors, the stuff around, the decoration and service... Everything was so so so awesome and close to heart... I enjoyed being there and wish to visit it in every visit to istanbul... Plus, the staff are very kind and friendly Thank you so much

A unique, cozy cafe in the heart of Balat. A true local-like experience. Their cats are everywhere and you can cuddle them while enjoying your coffee.

Cafe in Balat attracting all photographers. Name aphthalene\ was used extensively to protect clothes against moth, especially when stored to use next winter, the smell always reminds the old, so name is equivalent to nostalgia for Turkish people.

The atmosphere of this coffee shop is so relaxing. Nothing like drinking a cup of coffee with a purring cat by your side. Not only that, but their baked goods are highly recommended. The workers were so kind. Whether you're a tourist or local, this is a spot you need to check out.

Great and interesting place. Staff is very cultural. The best place to visit on Balat. This the only place where staff did not try to rob us (e.g. double price of evertything)
