EKiP is a brand new healthy food business project created in Istanbul in January 2019 with funding from the European Union, administered by the World Bank under the EU facility for Refugees in Turkey. Our objective is to provide innovative, healthy and affordable food products and meals, produced sustainably, while practicing social cooperative economics with and for Turkish and Syrian women. EKiP stands for Etkin Kadın İş Platformu (Actıve Women Busıness Platform). The project design and 2-year journey to viability is being implemented by a consortium led by JANA under C@rma. JANA's implementation partners are Hayata Destek (Support to Life), International Blue Crescent, TAPV (Turkey Family Heath Foundation), Bilgi University, Learning First Turkey, Impact Lab and Tangente.
