You need six hours at least to see every single animal in there, nice place, I recommend to visit in hot weather, few animals to see in cold weather

Very good for family visits, the have most of the animals , no elephants tho. They have many cafe abut expensive but it’s okay. I recommend going there only in summer.
This zoo is great although unfortunately because of the pandemic, they increased their ticket prices making up for all the financial loss. They refuse any food or drinks from outside. Other than that, I liked it. The bathrooms, children's changing room prayer rooms are clean. The variety of animals are diverse. It would be a bonus if they provided a caged-bus tour for people to be inside, cruising in a wild area of lions/ tigers.
One of the nicest zoo I’ve ever been. It has 250 animal species. Some of the animals are in opened cages and some are in closed covered area like the reptiles. They also have a small aquarium. The place is bigger than I expected. Small multiple coffee shops are distributed through out the zoo. Tickets prices are 20 for adults and 18 for kids. Children under 3 are free of charge. I went there at 1300 during a cloudy day, but when the sun came out it was very hot and we couldn’t continue our visit.
My first proper zoo experience ever, I did not expect to see a lot species in one place. I don't fully support Zoos but this was reasonably big and well cared. Makes me excited to see more of them in their natural habitat after having a first meeting with them. I would definitely recommend this place to experience in Istanbul.
It is amazing place where you can enjoy being in beautiful nature and see very beautiful animals. People who work in zoo take care of animals pretty good, all of animals look healthy and beautiful.
How it looks from the outside doesn’t reflect how huge and beautiful this zoo is. Despite being far from the city center of the lovely city of İstanbul, this park is totally worth visiting especially for families and families with kids. Beside enjoying watching a wide variety of animal collections you can enjoy learning about these animals by reading a brief about each Animal on a neat descriptive board by each animal .
We went there at the end of August, it was hot and sunny which led the animals to be hiding especially birds since they are placed in a wide-open-area. It was kinda expensive ticket even after being hooked with a discount “75 lira”. Try to go when around 4pm in order to see all animals. This place was part of our program with a tour office but if it was up to me I wouldn’t go there.
