I tried Cemil Usta first in Istanbul-Maltepe. I can say that, the taste in Istanbul and Trabzon same. We ate meatballs, kuymak (It is special cheese, butter and cornflour) and ofcourse hazelnut baklava:)

I was intending to grade this restaurant 3 stars because the food was not that great, and I think the meat was reheated. However, I gave it 4 stars due to the great hospitality and kindness of the staff. They offered us free appetizer at the begging and then they offered free Trabzon sweets with the tea. The waiter kept checking if we needed anything in a nice and caring way, not as some waiters do sometimes! However, the food was average actually.. which was a bit disappointing.

Very good restaurant.. food is very delicious and tasty.. specially levrek and fish soap.. the staff are very professional and nice to the customer.. fast service and they have the most delicious baklava with nuts ever .. they serve it hot .. every time I visit trabzon i have to go there .. l hardly recommend it

I recommend this restaurant. The service is quick, the team is so friendly and they speak English. They have very nice traditional Turkish menu, however you can find Burger too. Drinks like tea ane coffee are served free of charge, even Baklava. Visit it and don't hesitate.

I had a pleasant time in there and the service was fantastic . in fact best service I've seen in a while ,they didn't take like 45 minutes to make the food it was there in 15 minutes! And for Muslim like myself , the food was 100% halal which was comforting by the way , and don't let me get started on the desert, cause it's so good!
