During these years high quality fruits grown at fertile fields of Menderes valley sold through wholesale tradesmen called levanten. We focus on Smyrna dried figs. Origin of our dried figs is Tire and Aydın both at the western Turkiye. Aydın, Mugla and Izmir region, which used to be called antique Caria region, are the top fig-producers in Turkey.
