It is a really sweet cozy place where you can find homemade dishes like your mama's. The staff is very attentive and professional. Especially Mademoiselle (Matmazel) is wonderful. She is the foundation of Elde Börek. The food is really good and tasty. What I hope to see is the declaration of origin. From how far do the products come? Are they local? Also, I get goose bumps when I see aubergine/eggplant dishes in winter. Please at least use seasonal produce. Also, when we asked for olive oil, they brought some oil that did not look like olive oil.
It was very delicious. Different things to try. Lots of vegetarian food, and some meat dishes you can mix everything how you want on a plate.
I love the place, looks clean and fresh, there are ladies behind who manage it, and I believe in restaurants which are managed by ladies. Cashier lady who seems to be manager also was very nice, helpful, she also speak \ PERSIAN\, in general I can suggest the place for those who might find themselves in Basiktas area.

Great vegetarian food options Salads and other turkish dishes. You are charged by number and amount of portion size but usually a full plate is about 40 turkish liras.
