We are a couple travelling to Istanbul and we were looking for a nice restaurant for a memorable moment for my birthday. A Turkish friend recommend us to go to 5 Kat wish is a roof top restaurant with terrace. We had a really warm welcome and The spot is really amazing with a great view on the city and the bosphorus and nice decoration. I recommend to go before the sunset to get the change of colors and the view on the bridges with the lights. Unfortunately the service has not been as good as the spot, the guy did not speak English very well, they tried to make us buy things that we did not order, we have been waiting one hour for our appetizer and then we had appetizer with the main meal and some was not warm. They also took our bottle of wine off by mistake. The crisps with the hummus were not crispy at all... Well I really think it is not the same all the time as the waiters are really nice but with a little better collaboration between Kitchen and service it could be an amazing place.

What an awesome rooftop restaurant / bar! The setting is so cozy and romantic, and gives amazing views on the Bosphorus. We took some bottles of wine here, locally produced along with a cheese plate. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

This is one of the only restaurants which respect social distancing rules in Istanbul. The view is to die for, the hosts are simply wonderful and superbly kind, and the food is quite good. If you have allergies or if you are vegan, they go above and beyond to accommodate you. We loved it, we will always come back. Never been happier!
i have been here many times! this restaurant is one of my FAV all the time with great view and staff. i would definitely recommend people to pay a visit and make sure you make a advance reservation.
We were group of 11 people on a visit from Toronto and decided to look for a classy jazz bar or restaurant with great atmosphere and we came across this place on line so we decided to go there for dinner We arrived there at 10:30 pm the place from the outside and the road leads to the building is not the best and the place itself is so antique The negative side there was stairs then elevator ( really tiny elevator !! ) then another stairs to get to the restaurant!! Everything else was perfect The view was phenomenal and food was fanatic except the chicken pasta wasn’t the best but the rest of the food was amazing and the service was really good too Prices on the higher side comparing to other Turkish restaurant but when we compare it to Our Toronto classy restaurant we felt it was normal considering the quality of the food, view , customer service and the atmosphere
This was my favorite resteraunt experience in Istanbul for one main reason: The service. The service was beyond my expectations, the view was also fabulous. Honestly didnt eat anything just ordered drinks, but the service will keep me coming back. The waiter Erdem is whose section you need to book a table in. Call in and reserve in advance, you wont regret it!!
A nice view,adequate prices, but… The service fee is included in the bill, so expect to be ignored as if you were invisible
