Quite frankly one of the best meals I have ever had. Having recently eaten at two, 2* Michellin restaurants this meal was by far the best. The dishes were unlike anything I've tried before. A balance of the most intricate flavours and textures coming together to deliver creative and sensational dishes. My favourites were the black sea bass, 6 tomatoes, lamb and fig, fried chicken and meat and yogurt sorbet. The wines paired were also incredible. Service was perfection. The server managing our table was attentive and rushed to get me a new fork when he heard I dropped mine! Everything really came together so perfectly thanks to the Neolokal team. I will return to Istanbul just to eat here!! My only feedback would be that it would have been good to have a sommelier let me know which dishes my wine were meant for...I wasn't quite sure and so finished a glass too soon. I was given a complimentary dessert wine and it was just WOW. Heading to the cave today to pick up a bottle. To chef Maksut Aşkar, thank you for sharing your incredible culture with us in the most incredible setting with the most sensationsal and memorable food.

Had celebrated my birthday there and never regretted this choice. Amazing view, very attentive staff, great location. We had 7-course tasting menu with wine pairing. Most of the dishes were absolutely delicious, some just good, wine choice was great, so overall I would definitely recommend this place for a dinner for any occasion. Try to pick around sunset time, you won’t see the sunset itself but the sky and the city looks so beautiful!
Delicious food! Could be an interesting experiment and change for those who reside in Turkey. I was really satisfied with meals, but to me that is a one-time place to go. I wouldn’t probably come there for a second time. The menu is limited with the choice of 2-3 dishes in each category. You can order only a set which includes 2 or 3 dishes with the fixed price. But the food is definitely worth trying!
I had medium expectations (high for being in the top 100, lowered as Turkish food is not known for being fabulous) but I was disappointed with the blandness of each dish and inattentive service. The menu was very limited (having only 3 choices for mains non of which sounded appealing and 2 deserts - cake or ice cream (not very imaginative). Not sure how they got in the top 100 but the views are nice.
Delicious dishes that were well execute, with only one exception that felt a bit out of place on a tasting menu. The pairing of Turkish wines was interesting and they suited the dishes well. Service was good overall, but there were a couple of hiccups where the dish was brought to us but no one came to explain the dish. The location is beautiful with a great view of the city.
Excellent service and beautiful view. The food was experimental and good. The restaurant is trying to knock on the fine dining door and with presentation and service there definitely there. The food is good but some dishes tasted better than others. The 5 course meal is a bit to much go for the 3 or a la carte.
I thought this was a really good menu and not too expensive. Good drinks too. All the dishes are served as sharing plates. Personally I would have preferred a small plate each. But really enjoyed dinner here. Excellent.
Currently the best high dining restaurant in Istanbul. We tried the tasting menu and everything was outstanding. Ask for a table near the window when making a reservation. Their cocktails were perfect as well. I will be visiting this restaurant on every visit to Istanbul. Prices are lower than what you will pay for this type of food in other cities around the world.
