Great walking path, almost like walking in natural forest but more prepared for easy walking U can go offroad if u like Its 5 km half circle route, so the 5km u go in will make u walk them back Recommend starting by the 2nd lower entrance so you walk the 5km ascending then walk back to the car descending slope

A beautiful place very quiet and the nature here at the middle of the forest is really gorgeous.. This small zoo is fine for kids but really over priced regarding entrance fee for adults as usual in istanbul.. It has to be reconsidered.. No adequate cleaning for the animal places and the animals are very dirty.. And the moderate food provided is not adequate to prices at all.. Good for day out away from noise.. P. S. Taking food is prohibited. No refund at all due to dissatisfaction. You need a private car.. The drive really worth it..

A nice place to connect with nature and get a way from the hustle and bustle of Istanbul. There is a variety of restaurants and picnic places . I think there is a hotel as well. It's better to go there with your own car. I went to the closest station then got a taxi, tiring but absolutely worth it!

Polonezköy Nature Park (Turkish: Polonezköy Tabiat Parkı) is a nature park village of Polonezköy in Istanbul, Turkey. Polonezköy is situated in the Beykoz district of Istanbul Province. The area was declared a nature park by the Ministry of Environment and Forests in 1994. It covers an area of about 3,004 ha (7,420 acres).[1] It is the province's first and in terms of area largest nature park. The protected area is named after the village of Polonezköy, which was settled in 1842 by a small group of Polish emigrants, after the failed November Uprising. The settlement was initially named \Adamköy\ or \Adampol\ (literally Adamville) in honor of Adam Jerzy Czartoryski, and was renamed later to \Polonez Karyesi\. In 1923, it was changed to its current official name.[2] The nature park offers many outdoor recreational activities such as picnicking, camping, trekking and orienteering.[1] There is a 5 km (3.1 mi)-long hiking, cycling and jogging course, as well as observation towers. There are also a number of restaurants.[1] Lodging is available in a number of boarding houses and hotels in the village.[2]
