Good for kids
Pros: -To start off, I have to say the Baris was a great instructor. Talking with him before and after each of my dives was good, and my time in the water was good. -The equipment was in good working condition, and much seemed to be fairly new, or at least really well maintained. In spite of the above, I will likely find a different dive shop next time I visit Kas because of the below. Cons: -In the midst of COVID, during both days I went diving, the boat was almost full, and most people were not wearing masks or practicing social distancing or being respectful of space in general. When making my reservation, I had specifically asked if there was room on the boat, with the expectation that COVID and some level of distancing on the boat would have been a consideration. -In two days of diving with Barakuda, I spent less than 3 hours in the water, yet over 15 hours on the boat, which is the least efficient use of time I’ve encountered on any dive trip since getting certified in 2015. -There were people smoking in the room where the between dive meal was being prepared, including the people preparing the meal, while they were preparing the meal. This is unhygienic even if the world was not in the midst of a pandemic. -The dive locations selected were over-dived, evidenced by there being 3-5 large dive boats at both locations both days. While the Kanyon location was an interesting dive with the initial descent into the canyon and the wreck at the end of the canyon, followed by the chimney ascent, the reef and fish life was severely lacking.

If i could give 0 stars, I would, that’s more than enough for the quality of service, communication, what they advertise and what the reality is. We registered through Akay Travel for the diving excursion in Kemer region.
All the pros dive here and all the record attempts are made onboard this ship. By far the most experienced crew in the entire country. Safety comes first as it should be.
Great people, great service. Had a fantastic time. The staff is highly trained and make you feel really safe. Great vibe as well - felt as if I was in a friends and family boat tour - nothing felt forced or fake.
