Deep Blue

Super fish joint in a very nice up market area. Love the Calamari and fries. Though they don’t serve fries but if you insist they will procure some for you from the neighbours.! The salad was extra nice too.! It had walnuts in it and tasted delicious.

First of all it was a hard decision whether I'll rate Adem Baba with 3 or 4 stars. At the end I decided to rate it with 3 stars. Here is my experience: We have been welcomed very friendly and been advised to try several starters. So we had a creamed eggplant, stuffed mussels, fried mussels, butter fried prawns and fried calamari. All starters were blend. We just became lemon to squeeze it over the fish. Even the prawns were without garlic or spice. In the main course we had different type of grilled fish. The fish tasted great and you could tell that it was fresh fish and not frozen. Overall they do not offer any sides beside of dry bread. I would even rate the fish with 4 stars but considering the complete evening I have to be fair and stick with 3 star rating.

My go to fish restaurant in Istanbul. Located in the gem of a neighborhood, Arnavutköy, by the Bosporous. The fish menu changes with the seasons. My meals have always been tender and cooked delicately. The wait staff are friendly and the meals come out fast.

Excellent fish restaurant, looks traditional and fish cooked to perfection. Good variety of locally caught fish. I had calamari, stuffed mussels and fresh mussels for starter. Definitely would recommend.
